To live in the Nortgard Forest means to live a rugged, strong existence. The forest, widely uncharted, holds many secrets, along with many dangers. It is a place of beauty, to be sure, but it is not a place to be taken lightly. In a wilderness this expansive, it is easy to assume that all those who call it home would be serious, determined, and in no way given to relax and smile.
That is, of course, until Harper arrives. She is tough, and as rugged as her forest home. However, what sets her apart is her ability to make light of difficult situations. Always ready with a song and a smile, her flute has been heard carrying melodies of comfort and revelry deep into the woodland night.
Her skills with a bow are also quite renowned around the town of Silverton and the surrounding communities. Not only can she hunt down her dinner, but also sing the tale of bringing it down. At home at taverns and campfires alike, her unique blend of strength and joy give her a spirit that is infectious in its energy.
Content to live within the shelter of the forest, she is now being called upon to undertake a great quest. Time will tell if this bright spirit will be able to combat the growing darkness that threatens to dispel all the light from the world.
