Thank you all for your support of the release of Necromancers’ Pride – Storm of Shadows, book 3 in the Necromancers’ Pride Saga. We need to keep the pedal to the metal in the weeks ahead in order to bring the story of Corwyn and Velladriana to new readers and fresh eyes.
D.W. and I have enjoyed our Thanksgiving holiday, believe me, but do you think we sat back and rested on our laurels, doing nothing? Well, I wanted to, but D.W. doesn’t put much stock in laurels and even if he did, he doesn’t really rest, so sitting back doesn’t do much for him. No, indeed.
We have been hard at work – and by we, I really mean he more than me. However, since it is I and not he who is writing to you, the work done by he and by me is now equal, you see? And yes … I do like green eggs and ham, Sam I am.
Suffice to say, we have some big news coming to you very soon.
Also, I am happy to report that our world is growing, not only in terms of the scope of the world of Tarune, but in readership as well. Want an example? Well, I am happy to give you one. Superfan Jason Hoisington, who is currently reading Storm of Shadows, has passed on his love of the saga to his wonderful mother Kim.
“This Proud Mama wants to share this post and share another one of Jason’s Passions and one that is Quickly becoming one of mine —Necromancers’ Pride – From the very beginning of Book 1 – Quest for Elderstone, you are drawn into the World of Tarune – You can see the characters, hear the sounds, picture the scenes and yes even imagine the smells ! Right away you have favorite characters and will pick up other favorites along the way – some are inspirational, some are devious, some are mystical, some powerful and some are down right awesome in their fighting skills – You may be surprised at which ones are your favorites!”
He reports that she is now engrossed in the adventure and is excited to see how things turn out for our embattled group of protagonists.
So you see, it’s a family affair! Necromancers’ Pride is a story that stirs the imaginations and pulls at the heartstrings of every generation. D.W. and I could not be happier for that. I am just dying to find out if she is Team Corwyn, Team Eryk or Team Reese. I am sure Jason will be letting us know.
So many new and exiting developments are on the way for you as we finish out 2014 in stride and hit the ground running in 2015 (yes, I am a fan of track metaphors). We are glad you are with us on the ride.
What are your favorite things about the world of Necromancers’ Pride?
This is your community. We want to hear from you.
