Find your grind.

In baseball, it is called the dog days of summer (that about covers what I know about baseball). In football, it is the mid-season grind. We all deal with it. The book has been released. The movie has premiered. The album has dropped … then what?

Back to the grind, that’s what.

As I have said, our posts are a bit shorter now, since we are in our “grind.” We are working hard on the latest volume in the Necromancers’ Pride Saga, Tides of War. I just wanted to take a few minutes to reach out to you, our amazing readers, and check in. I love interacting in this community we have established, and it only grows through that interaction.

However, the world of Necromancers’ Pride only grows by putting our proverbial noses to the grindstone and gutting through those times when there is no fanfare, when nobody is around to applaud your good work or pat you on the back.

That is the grind.

This is the due diligence we must pay to reap the future rewards of following our dreams. Dreams shape the world, but nobody ever said attaining them was easy. Dreams require work. They often demand sacrifice. They always necessitate the grind.

Well, it is about time to get back to it, back to getting in and world building greater adventures to share with you. It isn’t always easy, but it is always worth it. Don’t let the prospect of all the work you must do prevent you from actually doing it. It will be worth it, in the end. Of that, you can be completely assured.

We are back to our grind. We hope we have inspired you to get to yours.

How do you motivate yourself through the tough times in your pursuits? How do you focus through your grind?

This is your community. We want to hear from you.
