I have been asked by several people if the symbol synonymous with Necromancers’ Pride means anything. Well, indeed it does. Everything about it has a meaning. Here it is.
Pride Symbol: The Pride Symbol is the ancient rune that represents each of the Strands of the Magics. The two circles represent the eternal circles of life and the universe. The outer circle represents the universe, which includes all the planes of existence. The inner circle represents the flow of life. Each point of the magical cross within the circles represents one of the four main magical Strands. The points extend outside the circles, signifying how the magics transcend all things. When looking at the symbol, the point at the top represents the Strand of the Oracles. Its elemental symbol is the crystal sphere. The bottom point of the symbol represents the Strand of the Necromancers. Its elemental symbol is the twisted bone. The left point of the symbol represents the Strand of the Battle Magi. Its elemental symbol is the silver knife. The right point of the symbol represents the Strand of the Healers. Its elemental symbol is the glass vial filled with clear liquid.
That is the meaning behind the Pride Symbol. It is representative of the one in whom all the magical Strands flow together. As with everything in the world of Necromancers’ Pride, there is a significance to it. We hope you are enjoying the adventure.
